We have a mixture of face to face and telephone consultation appointments that can be booked in advance or on the day. Many patients do not require a face to face appointment and often the GP can deal with the problem via a telephone consultation. Examples of problems that can be dealt and discussed over the phone are :
- tests results
- renewing a sick note
- on going problem that may require referral to a hospital
- medication review
Patients will still have the option to speak to a specific GP, however, they may have to wait until another day when the GP is on duty.
If you are unable to take or receive telephone calls, please make the receptionist aware so she can arrange an appropriate appointment, patients can continue to book appointments via on line Patient Access.

Text Reminder Service
We operate an automated text reminder service direct to mobile phones detailing the date and time of the patient's next appointment at the surgery.
This text is sent a day or so before the appointment. To receive text reminders simply provide us with your mobile phone number. Any patient who no longer wishes to recieve text messages can opt out of this service by informing reception.
Patient Online Access
You can book and cancel your appointments, request repeat medication, view your medical summary and immunisation record on line. To do this you need to register with the practice and obtain a password to enable you to access this service. Once your registration account is created and activated you will be able to use the system to book and cancel appointments, request repeat medication, view your medical summary and immunisation record as required. Please complete an application form available from reception.
